From Hwy 80 Sacramento/Reno 
Take the Elm Ave exit (south) from 80 (at Auburn).  Follow signs to Hwy 49 (south) towards Cool, Coloma, and Placerville.

From Hwy 50   Sacramento/S. Lake Tahoe 
Take Hwy 49 (north) exit from 50 (at Placerville).  Follow signs on Hwy 49 (north) toward Coloma, Cool, and Auburn.

From Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park and Shingle Springs
Adventurous drivers will enjoy Salmon Falls Rd.  This is a very narrow, twisting road!  Salmon Falls Rd runs between Green Valley Rd in El Dorado Hills, to Pilot Hill at Hwy 49.  To reach Salmon Falls Rd from Hwy 50, take El Dorado Hills Blvd exit (north), crossing Green Valley Rd where the road name changes to Salmon Falls Rd.  Continue to the road's end at Pilot Hill.  Turn right onto Hwy 49 (south-east) for 3.3 miles to the winery on your left.

For an easier, less harrowing route use Lotus Rd. From Hwy 50, take the Ponderosa exit (north) onto North Shingle Rd.  Continue north, toward Lotus 11.1 miles to the road's end at Hwy 49.  Turn left onto Hwy 49 (north-west), crossing the American River, 3.6 miles to the winery on your right.

The winery is located along the north side of the highway, at 5821 State Highway 49.  

Driving on Hwy 49 to Venezio winery from Hwy 80 in Auburn, it is 12.6 miles from Elm St exit off Hwy 80, 6.7 miles from Cool (at Hwy 193), and 3.3 miles from Pilot Hill (at Salmon Falls Rd). 

Driving on Hwy 49 to Venezio winery from Hwy 50 in Placerville, it is 12.7 miles from Hwy 50, 6.7 miles from the Marshall Gold Discovery site, and 3.6 miles from Lotus Rd and the bridge over the South fork of the American River. 

*Venezio Winery is approximately 13 miles from either freeway, and 6.7 miles northwest of Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park at Coloma.
