winery is nestled in the lovely Coloma Valley in El Dorado
County's Sierra foothills, across the highway from the South fork
of the American River. Driving over a fragment of the original
historic Highway 49, visitors to Venezio pass rows of vines
through an alley of mature oak trees as they enter the winery. Come visit

Our focus at Venezio
is producing wines of the highest quality at reasonable prices.
Most of each step in the wine making process we do here at the
winery. We start by growing the majority of
the grapes we use in our own family vineyards. After we pick
and crush the grapes, they are fermented in French and American
Oak barrels in a temperature-controlled environment, right
behind our tasting room. We complete the process by
bottling and labeling Venezio's
award-winning, premium varietal wines you can see at this site and may be
tasted at the winery. |
