2005
Estate White Zinfandel
Aroma of
fresh fruit on the nose with hints of melon, peach, and
mango. It is like summer in a glass. The 1.5%
residual sugar presents a certain sweetness that is not
overpowering. Its versatility allows pairing with
chicken, fish, pork, and Thai cuisine as well.

2002
Estate Merlot
One of the
truly great wines of the Bordeaux region of France. This
grape does especially well in the Sierra foothills of
California. Ripe fruit stands out in the nose.
Anise, cherry, and raspberry come to mind in the mouth
with dry, lingering finish. This wine will pair
well with red meats, strong cheeses, and roasted
vegetables.

Sangiovese
This
Italian grape is the basis of all Chiantis.
Sangiovese is a medium to full body wine and is at home in
the Sierra foothills where the climate and terrain is like
Tuscany, on the Italian peninsula. It pairs nicely
with almost any appetizer, pasta, or turkey.

Syrah
Originally
grown in northern Africa as a Shiraz, this bold
full-bodied wine thrives in many parts of the world,
including France's Rhone Valley, Chile, parts of
Australia, and California. This Sierra foothills Syrah is a
full-bodied, fruit-forward red wine with hints of
blueberry, anise, and ripe fruit on the nose and
palate. Typically a short finish makes this varietal
easy to pair with either the entrée
or dessert.

2002
Cabernet Franc
A
full-bodied red wine from the Bordeaux region of
France. This intense wine has made the jump from a
blending wine to a stand-alone. It has a bouquet of
cherry and ripe fruit. The slight acidity allows
this wine to pair with a variety of foods, so stop and
savor the long finish before you tip your glass again.

2001
Estate Red Wine Meritage
Meritage was born in Napa Valley to
make a full-bodied, wonderfully layered wine from a blend
of three Bordeaux varietals; 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot,
and 15% Cabernet Franc. These
Sierra grown grapes come together to present a nose
filling experience of fresh, ripe fruit. The palate
senses fullness, but not heavy body, with continuous
layers of flavors, making this wine especially interesting
to the senses. This blend pairs well with any food,
or can be enjoyed by itself.
